Q: I’ve never taken a musical instrument before. I’m not even sure what instrument I want to learn. Is there a place for me at MSM Sunday?
A: Absolutely! We have students of all ages and levels in our program and can accommodate whatever plans you have for your music lessons. Please contact our Director at eyoung@msmnyc.edu with any special requests or questions you may have.

Q: What if I start MSM Sunday mid-semester or mid-year?
A: We will adjust your tuition based on the number of lessons you plan to take. You can register and begin lessons at any time. We would love to have you join our program!

Q: What if I have questions about my potential teacher before I sign up?
A: We are happy to give you information about our incredibly accomplished faculty. We will also make an appointment with you to discuss the kind of teacher you are looking for and what you hope to accomplish in your lessons. Our director takes great care in selecting our faculty and in pairing teachers and students according to the individual student’s needs and level.

Q: Will I have an opportunity to perform at MSM Sunday?
A: We have recitals and outreach concerts in which all students are invited to perform! Participation is not required, but it is always a fun and supportive experience.
