Please read.
This calculator is intended to provide estimated net price information (defined as estimated cost (price) of attendance — including tuition and required fees, books and supplies, room and board (meals), and other related expenses — minus estimated grant and scholarship aid) to current and prospective students and their families based on what similar students paid in a previous year.
By clicking below, I acknowledge that the estimate provided using this calculator does not represent
a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance, or a final net price; it is an
estimate based on price of attendance and financial aid provided to students in a previous year.
Price of attendance and financial aid availability change year to year. The estimates shall
not be binding on the Secretary of Education, the institution of higher education, or the State.
Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be eligible for,
and receive, an actual financial aid award that includes Federal grant, loan, or work-study assistance.

Please Note: The estimates above apply to full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduate students only. The students who make up the data range for the determination rates are only domestic students. Foreign students are not listed since Federal Financial Aid is only available to domestic students. The private scholarships awarded (MSM) are based on audition scores as a primary. The federal, state and local scholarships are based on need. The family contribution is used by the government and this calculator in determining the output.
These estimates do not represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance or a final net

for student loans and work-study. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student

If you would like information on the schools financial aid programs, please visit http://www.msmnyc.edu/Admissions/Scholarships-Financial-Aid . Once there you will find instructions for applying for additional financial aid. This estimate is an inaccurate representation of the Aid that can be awarded.
Other costs that should be considered are tuition over-credits. If a full-time student goes over 18 credits during a semester, there is a per-credit fee charged to the student. Another charge not listed is the cost of health insurance offered by the school if he/she elects to use the schools insurance. Proof of insurance is required if you decide not to use the schools insurance. These fees are determined and can be changed on a yearly basis. There are many other sources of Aid that are not used by this calculator, such as private scholarships, private loans, and international scholarships, the financial aid office is not involved with private loans. The student must provide a letter from the foundation/ person/institution explaining how the funds are to be applied and dated with the correct school years date to be applied.
