The curriculum of the Precollege Division has been carefully devised to assure a thorough musical education.

The basic tuition includes four classes, which meet every Saturday:

• Private 60 or 40 minute lesson
• Theory class 
• Ear training class
• One large ensemble or small ensemble (as assigned) 

In addition to these four classes, basic tuition includes:

• Eligibility for performing opportunities 
• Concert attendance
• An annual Jury
