Public Transportation

The School is easily reached by all means of mass transit.

. . . by bus:

• The M4 and M104 stop at 122nd Street and Broadway. The M5 stops at 122^nd Street and Riverside Drive (walk two blocks south of Riverside Drive).

. . . by subway:

• The West Side IRT #1 and #9 trains stop at 116th Street (at Broadway)
• Walk north on Broadway to 122^nd Street

. . . by train:

• Visitors arriving by Metro-North Railroad may disembark at East 125th Street and ride the M60 bus west to 120th Street and Broadway

Directions by Car

. . . from the Lincoln or Holland Tunnels:

• Travel west in Manhattan to the West Side Highway (also known as West Street)
• North to the 95th St Exit
• North on Broadway to 122nd St

. . . from all points north:

• Drive south on the Henry Hudson Parkway (which then becomes the West Side Highway)
• Exit at 125th St
• Turn left at the second street under the overpass (to Broadway)
• Right on Broadway to 122nd St

. . . from New England via I-95 South:

1. Take the I-95 South to New York.
2. Take the I-95 South/I-678 South/Cross Bronx Expressway exit, exit number 6A, towards George Washington Bridge/Whitestone Bridge.
3. Keep left at the fork in the ramp.
4. Merge onto I-95 S/Cross Bronx Expressway.
5. I-95 S/Cross Bronx Expressway becomes I-95 S/Cross Bronx Expressway/US-1 S.
6. Take I-95 S/Cross Bronx Expressway towards 181 Street (RT-9A)/Henry Hudson Parkway/Lower Level.
7. Merge onto I-95 S/Cross Bronx Expressway.
8. Take the RT-9A/Parkway exit towards 181 Street.
9. Keep left at the fork in the ramp.
10. Take the RT-9A South ramp.
11. Keep right at the fork in the ramp.
12. Merge onto Henry Hudson Parkway/NY-9A S.
13. Take the exit, exit number 12, towards West 125th Street.
14. Merge onto Marginal Street.
15. Turn left onto Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard/West 125th Street.

5. Turn slight left to take the I-495 West ramp.
6. Merge onto Long Island Expressway/I-495 West.
7. Take the Cross Island Parkway North exit, exit number 30North, towards Whitestone Bridge.
8. Keep right at the fork in the ramp.
9. Merge onto Cross Island Parkway North.
10. Take the I-295/Throgs Neck Bridge exit, exit number 33, towards Bronx/New England.
11. Merge onto I-295 North/Throgs Neck Bridge.
12. Stay straight to go onto I-295 North/Throgs Neck Expressway/I-695 North.
13. Take I-295 North/Cross Bronx Expressway extension towards George Washington Bridge(I-95 S).
14. Merge onto I-295 North/Cross Bronx Expressway extension.
15. I-295 North/Cross Bronx Expressway extension becomes I-95 S/Cross Bronx Expressway.
16. Take I-95 S/Cross Bronx Expressway towards 181st Street (RT-9A)/Henry Hudson Parkway/Lower Level.
17. Merge onto I-95 S/Cross Bronx Expressway.
18. Take the RT-9A/Parkway exit towards 181 Street.
19. Keep left at the fork in the ramp.
20. Take the RT-9A South ramp.
21. Keep right at the fork in the ramp.
22. Merge onto Henry Hudson Parkway/NY-9A S.
23. Take the exit, exit number 12, towards West 125th Street.
24. Merge onto Marginal Street.
25. Turn left onto Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard/West 125th Street.

1. Take I-80 East.
2. Take the I-95 North exit, exit number 68B, on the left towards George Washington Bridge/New York.
3. Merge onto I-95 North Ramp.
4. Merge onto I-95 North/New Jersey Turnpike.
5. I-95 North/New Jersey Turnpike becomes I-95 North/US-9 North/US-1 North.
6. I-95 North/US-9 North/US-1 North becomes I-95 North/Upper Level George Washington Bridge/US-9 North.
7. Stay in the right-hand lane across the bridge.
8. Take the RT-9A/US-9/Henry Hudson Parkway/178th Street exit.
9. Keep right at the first fork in the ramp.
10. Keep left at the second fork in the ramp.
11. Merge onto Henry Hudson Parkway/NY-9A S.
12. Take the exit, exit number 12, towards West 125th Street.
13. Merge onto Marginal Street.
14. Turn left onto Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard/West 125th Street.
15. Turn right onto Broadway.

Parking
GMC Parking Garage is located at 532 West 122nd St, less than a block from the School. Parking can also be found along the street, however, visitors are cautioned to follow parking restrictions carefully and not to leave valuables in their cars.
