Lynn Owen
Voice

Lynn Owen has sung over 50 leading soprano roles in major opera houses in North and South America and Europe, including the Metropolitan in New York, Vienna, Bellas Artes in Mexico City, Los Angeles, Zurich, Caracas, Venezuela (opposite Carlo Bergonzi in Il trovatore). Frankfurt, Cologne, Central City, and Canada. She has sung major roles in Der fliegende Holländer (Conlon), La fanciulla del west, Un ballo in maschera, La forza del destino, Otello, Turandot, Tosca, Il tabarro, Le nozze di Figaro, Così fan tutte, Die Entführung aus dem Serail (American debut, New Orleans, Julius Rudel), Die Zauberflöte, Idomeneo, Prince Igor, Siegfried, Die Frau ohne Schatten, Fidelio, Die Walküre, Aspen Music Festival (Senta), and ArtPark (the Siegfried Brünnhilde under ChristopherKeene). Orchestra soloist: Vienna Grosse Musikverein; Carnegie Hall; Avery Fisher Hall; Monterey, Mexico; Brooklyn Academy.
