Mr. Ascani is a faculty member in the College for the following department(s) and division(s):
| | | S. Argeo Ascani received his master’s and bachelor's degrees from the
Manhattan School of Music. Primarily focused on music of the Twentieth
Century, Argeo has presented lectures at numerous universities and
institutions on topics ranging from Xenakis and Cage, to current
musical trends in New York City. In addition to teaching history,
Argeo is also an actively performing musician dedicated to new music,
and has premiered over one hundred new works for the saxophone.
