Ann Lewin has worked as coach, accompanist, and assistant conductor for leading opera companies in the U.S., including New Orleans Opera, Florentine Opera, Michigan Opera Theater, Opera Colorado, Mississippi Opera, Opera Carolina, and Vancouver Opera. She has also worked extensively training young singers at OMTI of New Jersey and the Young Artist Training Center of Opera Colorado. She was principal coach and lecturer at the School of Music of the University of Texas at Austin. She has accompanied many singers, including Nico Castel, in recitals and is currently a vocal coach on the faculty of the Mannes College of Music in New York City. Manhattan School of Music faculty since 2005.
