Cost of Attendance

Cost of Attendance is comprised of two types of costs, direct and indirect:

Direct Costs (paid directly to Manhattan School of Music) include:

  • Tuition
  • Fees
  • Room (for Andersen Residence Hall students)
  • Board (meal plan for residents and commuters-tiered plan)
  • Student Health Insurance (if not waived with proof of insurance)

Indirect Costs (not paid to Manhattan School of Music) include:

  • Room (if living in off-campus housing)
  • Board (food)
  • Music
  • Personal/Miscellaneous
  • Transportation
  • Health Insurance (if not purchased through Manhattan School of Music; note that all students will be billed our insurance charges, however this fee can be waived with proof of insurance.)

All costs shown are approximate based on the averages our students are paying for the budget items listed here.
