Manhattan School of Music’s Office of International Students provides information to international students and scholars. The Office of International Students, part of the Office of Student Life, serves a population of more than 300 international students from nearly 45 countries around the world. Programs and services of the Office of International Students are designed to meet the needs of new and returning international students, and currently enrolled international students.

The office is open Monday – Fridays from 9:00am to 5:00pm (during the academic year), except for holidays.

The International Student Advisor maintains an e-mail account at isa@msmnyc.edu which is checked each business day. Please note that e-mail sent may not be answered promptly if the staff member is away from the office for an extended period.

Appointments

Appointments may be made by telephone or in person. It is recommended that you discuss your needs with the International Student Advisor first, as you may find that an appointment is not necessary for many functions. If an appointment with the International Student Advisor is deemed necessary, one can usually be scheduled within three business days, except during vacation periods.
