Myers Recording Studio offers many recording and audio services specifically for Manhattan School of Music faculty and staff. These include priority copy requests, audio support requests and maintenance of classroom stereos. Forms for these requests are available in Room 234. Manhattan School of Music faculty and staff may also make use of other Myers Recording Studio Services such as Private Recording Sessions and Duplication Services as well as access to the Audio Archive collection in the Peter Jay Sharp Library.

Priority Copy Requests

Faculty and administrative directors only are eligible to request copies of recordings or Manhattan School performances for public relations and grant proposal use, orchestra/opera reference and study purposes, library reserve purposes, and for complimentary distribution to guest or visiting artists.

Audio Support Requests

Faculty and administrative directors only may request audio engineering support for institutional events, subject to the availability of Myers Recording Studio staff.

Classroom and Library Stereo Systems

Myers Recording Studio maintains all classroom and library stereo systems at Manhattan School of Music. Access to classroom stereo cabinets is authorized to faculty members only. Classroom stereo system keys and boom boxes are available to faculty in the facilities office (Room 008). For further questions, please contact Kevin Boutote, audio engineer, at ext. 4406.

Classroom Stereo Maintenance: In the event of classroom stereo equipment malfunction, faculty must report the need for service by submitting a classroom stereo maintenance request form to Myers Recording Studio, Room 239 or via interoffice mail, to the attention of Kevin Boutote, audio engineer, at ext. 4406. Maintenance forms are kept inside all classroom stereo cabinets.
