“How do I request recording services for a Recording Saturday?”

  • To request a recital recording or private recording session on one of the Recording Saturdays between 9am – 6pm, you must fill out, sign and submit the appropriate recording request form directly to the Precollege Office (ext. 4481).  Within five business days, you will be notified by the Recording Studio Coordinator as to whether Myers Recording Studio will be able to honor your request.
  • All recital and session recording requests must be made no later than two weeks prior to the requested recording date.  If there are no confirmed bookings for recitals or sessions two weeks prior to any given Recording Saturday, then that Recording Saturday will be cancelled and recording services will no longer be available on that date.

“How do I request a recording session at other times?”

  • To request a private recording session after 6PM on Saturdays or on any other day of the week, contact the Recording Studio Coordinator directly at ext. 4075.
Please note: All students who request a recital recording or private recording session must read, sign and submit a Recording Release Agreement. For a downloadable pdf of this form, click here. Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them.

“Where can I find information about duplication services?”

For information on copy requests and other services, please visit our Duplication Services page.

“What is a recording release agreement?”

The release agreement states that in accordance with receiving permission to record with Myers Recording Studio, all individuals involved agree to abide by the contents of the agreement if the recording is used or distributed for anything other than personal purposes (e.g., promotional or commercial distribution). Anyone requesting a private recording session must read, sign and submit a recording release agreement.
