Violinist Glenn Dicterow is one of the prominent American concert artists of his generation. He was concert master of the New York Philharmonic for 34 years, and is the Chair of the MSM Orchestra Performance program.
Peter Duchin is a legendary bandleader and American pianist, the son of bandleader Eddy Duchin. He has served on the boards of Carnegie Hall, the American Ballet Theatre, and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.

He is a multi-Grammy Award nominee, eight-time Jazz Journalist Association award-winner, and was named leading vibraphonist in the 65th annual DownBeat Critics’ Poll. In July 2017, he joined MSM as Associate Dean and Director of Jazz Arts.
Marta Istomin was President of of Manhattan School of Music from 1992 until her retirement in 2005. She has six honorary degrees, and highest cultural honors from Puerto Rico, Spain, France, and Germany.
Lang Lang is one of the world’s leading concert pianists. He embraces new technology and innovation, bringing classical music into the 21st century. He is also an educator, philanthropist, and a U.N. Messenger for Peace.
Robert Mann has been a driving force in the world of music for more than 70 years. A co-founder and former first violinist of the Juilliard String Quartet, he leads the Robert Mann String Quartet Institute at MSM.
Pinchas Zukerman is a violinist, violist, and conductor, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest violinists of the second half of the 20th century. He accepts gifted violinists and violists into his Pichas Zukerman Performance Program at MSM.
