Assistant Manager, Mail & Copy Services

Position Description

Title:  Assistant Manager, Mail & Copy Services
Department:  Mail & Copy Services / Facilities
Reports To: Manager, Mail & Copy Services
Supervises:  Student Workers
Internal Contacts: Staff, Faculty and Students
External Contacts:  UPS, USPS, FedEx, and other vendors as required   Incumbent: Vacant
Employment Status: full-time; non-exempt

Domains

  • Assist with processing incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and others.
  • Maintain Mailroom supplies, placing orders for additional items as needed.
  • Maintain records for Departmental postal charges.
  • Maintain the mail and copy services inventory
  • Supervise mail room student workers.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain the school’s fleet of multi-function copy machines, working with our vendor as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Computer literacy required with knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of postage equipment, rates, regulations, and services.
  • Knowledge of printers, copiers, scanners, etc. and ability to troubleshoot printer/copier issues.
  • Highly organized, with attention to details and accuracy.
  • Exemplary customer service and communication skills.
