Staff Accountant
Title: Staff Accountant Department: Business and Finance Reports To: Associate Vice President of Finance and Controller Internal Contacts: All Administrative Offices, Faculty, and Students External Contacts: Student Insurance Brokers and Vendors, Regulatory Agencies, Vendors Start Date: As soon as possible Employment Status: Full-time; Non-exempt
Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Finance and Controller, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting transactions in support of the Finance and Finance Office. This position requires a strong working knowledge of general accepted accounting principles, treasury and gift functions, financial systems and internal controls, and the ability to prepare financial reconciliations, analysis, and journal entries. The position also requires close attention to detail and the ability to work well independently as well as with other Financial Staff and departments on campus.
