December 18, 2020 Prescreening results released
January 8, 2021 DMA history and theory entrance exams released and due by January 13, 2021
January 13, 2021 Registration begins for English Assessment Interview appointments in January & February
January 15, 2021 Deadline for Musical Theatre applicants to submit all supplemental materials (unofficial transcripts, essays, recommendation letters, etc.) Find out what you’ll need to submit here.
January 15, 2021 Registration begins for Musical Theatre and Orchestral Percussion virtual auditions and Classical Composition virtual interviews
February 1, 2021 Deadline for Classical, Jazz, Contemporary Performance, and Orchestral Performance applicants to submit all supplemental materials (unofficial transcripts, essays, recommendation letters, TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo etc.). Find out what you’ll need to submit here.
February 1, 2021 Recorded auditions due from eligible applicants to Classical, Jazz, Contemporary Performance, and Orchestral Performance programs

April 15, 2021 GRADUATE deadline for accepted students to respond to admissions offer
April 15, 2021 Application for May auditions available for select programs (please email admission@msmnyc.edu for further information)
May 1, 2021 UNDERGRADUATE deadline for accepted students to respond to admissions offer
May 1, 2021 Deadline for ALL accepted students to sign and return their scholarship and/or financial aid award letter (via mail or email)
