Ebone VanityZo Johnson

Ebone “VanityZo” Johnson is a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer based in New York City fluent in hip-hop, tap, jazz, ballet, modern, and musical theatre. She has been dancing since her early childhood and has trained at the Alvin Ailey School, Debbie Allen’s Dance Academy, and the Sarasota Ballet. She started working professionally at 13 years old, choreographing a commercial for Nickelodeon’s The Big Help. She was a lead actress in the Hollywood film Step Up 2 in the 410 crew (choreographed by Dave Scott, Hi Hat, Jamal Sims, and Rhapsody James) and over the years has danced behind and in music videos with such artists as The Roots, Ryan Leslie, Pusha T, DMX, Rick Ross, Chaka Khan, Eminem, Ludacris, Warren G, Trey Songz, Kiesza, Diplo and Skrillex, Ciara, Method Man, Red Man, Mary J. Blige, and more. Ebone was recently in Moscow on a teaching tour and was a guest choreographer on the Russian TV show Dance TNT (Russia’s So You Think You Can Dance).
