“When You Believe” from The Prince of Egypt by Stephen Schwartz
“Edelweiss” from The Sound of Music by Rodgers & Hammerstein
View this post on Instagram I finished my last class for my Master of Music at Manhattan School of Music. I graduate this Friday. This is the song sang for my last class, and I wanted to share it with you all too. It’s not perfect, and neither was the way I finished this degree, but music with heart is always worth sharing. I couldn’t help but cry, and I won’t apologize for it. If you knew what finishing meant for me, how hard I’ve worked to be my best self, you’d know these tears are bittersweet. Class of 2020, may you bloom and grow forever. #msmnyc #msmbridgingthedistance #manhattanschoolofmusic #msmnycalumni #zoomwizard A post shared by Annie (@annmarieb_) on May 13, 2020 at 9:47pm PDT

Excerpts from Alexis’ Senior Project
View this post on Instagram These are recordings from rehearsals for my project that was going to happen yesterday. The first: an excerpt from “Jane Seymour.” Reflecting the feeling of a mother being elated to welcome her new born son into the world. Joy. Trepidation. Creation. Pain. Relief. The second: An excerpt from “Anne Boleyn.” She’s begging to go on trial instead of being brutally beheaded based on rumor. Terror. Urgency. Injustice. Betrayal. Horror. #msmbridgingthedistance A post shared by LEX (@alexis_seminario) on Mar 20, 2020 at 10:43am PDT
