The Cathedral of St. John the Divine

The Cathedral of St. John the Divine is one of Manhattan School of Music’s closest partners. MSM ensembles regularly perform here, collaborating with the Oratorio Society of New York, as part of St. John the Divine’s Great Music in a Great Space series.

Florence Gould Hall Theatre at the French Institute Alliance Française

The French Institute Alliance Française’s premiere venue, Florence Gould Hall, seats 361 and is a state-of-the-art performance space. It is a part of FIAF, an organization with the mission to offer New Yorkers innovative programs in the arts that generate new ideas and promote cross-cultural dialogue.

Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College

National Sawdust

National Sawdust is one of Brooklyn’s key new music venues and one that offers adventurous programming. MSM has collaborated in past seasons to present the US premiere of Vasco Mendonca’s The House Taken Over, a co-production with the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. MSM’s Contemporary Performance Program has also been featured at National Sawdust as part of Robert Sirota’s Bridging the Gap series.

Isaac Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall

Isaac Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall might be one of the most recognized concert venues in the United States. The MSM Symphony Orchestra performed with Leonard Slatkin in 2014.

Lincoln Center

One of New York’s cultural landmarks, Lincoln Center is part of the New York musical landscape. MSM Symphonic Chorus and Chamber Choir recently collaborated with the New York Philharmonic and conductor Vladimir Jurowski in a performance of Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloe.
