MSM Brass Ensemble: Vive La France!

TUES | FEB 12
7:30 PM

Vive la France!

“Vive La Fance” pairs masterworks in an antiphonal setting by Guillaume Machaut and Friends from the 14th Century — enchanting music that sounds at once beautifully  ancient and incredibly new–with the visionary sounds of Olivier Messaien from the 20th Century–music that soars like light itself.  The concert concludes with the majestic Fanfares Liturgiques of Tomasi–a classic of the brass repertoire.”

—  David Jolley, Conductor
