Join us for this unique event to celebrate the life and music of one of the great voices in contemporary jazz, Kenny Wheeler. MSM are proud to host the US book launch for the release of the new biography, Song For Someone: The Musical Life of Kenny Wheeler (Equinox Publications). Co-authored by Nick Smart and Brian Shaw, with foreword by Dave Holland; we are thrilled that Mr Holland, a lifelong colleague of Wheeler’s, and co-author Professor Smart, will be with us to discuss the new book, as well as other aspects of Wheeler’s life and music, and share insights from the legacy and fascinating, inspiring story of this truly original artist.
