MSM Student Project in Performance: Women

Ripley Lucas-Tagliani (BM ’20), Curator

A program celebrating women composers performed solely by women. This program is an event to shed light on the wonderful women trailblazers throughout history in music. MSM is filled with an extraordinary amount of talent and to showcase some of these lesser-performed works by these important women. The program is a mix of both vocal and chamber instrumental works by Amy Beach, Florence Price, Fanny Mendelssohn, Louise Farrenc, Ethel Smyth, and more. It is because of these strong women that we are able to thrive at conservatories such as MSM today, and with an all female performed program like this.

This event is FREE, no tickets required.
