Dean of Enrollment Management
I joined MSM as Director of Financial Aid in 1994, and have been Dean of Enrollment since 2013. I’m a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory (BM) and New England Conservatory (MM) in Vocal Performance, so I am keenly aware of the Conservatory journey! It is an honor to work with young musicians pursuing a high-level music education. I grew up in Lakewood, NY, Ann Arbor, MI and Winchester, MA. My husband is a wonderful concert pianist (an MSM alum!), we have two wonderful children and two awesome Goldendoodle dogs, Finn and Snickers!
Director of Admissions
I’ve been working in Admissions for MSM for the past seven years, and as Director since 2014. I began my career working in international admissions in 2000 after completing my M.S.Ed. in School Counseling at Hofstra University. I took a brief break from Admissions work in 2006-2008, where I taught English in South Korea. I’ve loved music my entire life, and am thrilled to represent MSM and help brave and talented young musicians further their music education.
Director of Financial Aid firstname.lastname@example.org
I've helped students for nearly 17 years at many institutions of higher education. My expertise and knowledge helps me educate students and families about the resources available to make receiving an education at MSM affordable and a reality. I've held many elected and appointed positions within the Financial Aid community, and I have a BA in Communication from Pace University (NY) and an MS in Higher Education with an emphasis in Integrative Education from Capella University (MN).
Assistant Director of Admissions
I joined the MSM team in the fall 2017, after working in various positions as an arts administrator, and as a freelance musician in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2011. I’m excited to bring my passion and expertise to the MSM Admissions Team! I received my BM in Trombone from the University of Michigan, and my MM in Trombone from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Senior Admissions Counselor
I joined the MSM family in the fall of 2016 after working in a variety of roles in classical music education, production, and booking, including most recently, working for Opus 3 Artists when I moved to NYC in 2014. I grew up in Cleveland, where I studied piano at Cleveland Institute of Music's Preparatory Department. I complete a BA in Music from St. Mary's College of Maryland and my MM in Piano Performance at the Peabody Conservatory.
I’m a vocalist and pianist who is very excited to welcome students to the Manhattan School of Music community! Before joining the Office of Admissions, I worked as a music teacher, organist, and arts administrator in higher education. I received my BM in Vocal Performance from the University of Connecticut, and my Ed.M in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Financial Aid Counselor
I am a former student of Manhattan School of Music and received my Masters in Voice Performance in 2016. I worked in the Financial Aid Office as a work study student during my time here, and I loved it so much that I joined the team after graduation. It is an honor to be helping MSM students with their Financial Aid questions -- don't hesitate to ask!

What I like best about attending MSM is the amazing faculty and staff here, everyone is incredibly nurturing. It's great living in NYC because there are so many cultures, food and places to see -- the city will let you grow as a musician and a person. I enjoy working in the Admissions office because I get to encourage prospective students and help them in this exciting time in their lives.

My favorite thing about MSM is the world-class faculty and the warm and welcoming community here. Being so close to the Metropolitan Opera or the NY Philharmonic or Carnegie Hall is a bit unreal at first but then feels normal! I enjoy working in Admissions because it gives me the chance to make the challenging and stressful process of applying a little easier.

My favorite part of attending MSM is having the opportunity to explore different styles of music outside of my major. My favorite part of living in NYC is experiencing the diversity within the music scene. My favorite part of working in the admissions office is meeting prospective students.

I love MSM because of its supportive and friendly atmosphere. My favorite part of living in New York City is being able to try the many different restaurants the city has to offer. I like working in the Admissions office because of how everyone in the office is so much fun to be around.

What I like best about Manhattan School of Music is working with and learning from instructors that have outstanding careers and are actively performing. It’s also great having access to some of the world’s greatest performing venues here in NYC. I enjoy working in the Admissions office because I can help answer questions and give applicants a glimpse of a day in the life of an MSM student!
