Manhattan School of Music is located between the 116th Street and 125th Street stations.
(M5, M4, M104, M60, M11) Several MTA bus lines stop within two blocks of the school: the M5 arrives at Riverside Drive, the M4 and M104 arrive at Broadway, and the M60 and M11 arrive at Amsterdam Avenue.
Metro North trains stop at Harlem-125th Street. After exiting the train, board the M60 bus, making stops down Amsterdam Avenue.

Our student-led tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at MSM’s performance spaces, libraries, and residence hall, with a glimpse into the unique community of faculty and students that make up our School.

Each academic year features more than 700 performances by our classical and jazz orchestras, chamber ensembles, jazz combos, musical theatre ensembles, and our opera studio, as well as faculty and student recitals.
Master Classes are also held by internationally renowned artists who coach our students in a variety of repertoire.
Most of these events are free, open to the public, and don’t require tickets or reservations. Visit our performance page for more information!
