M.M., Manhattan School of Music; B.S., BM, University of Connecticut. Woodwind studies with Joseph Allard, Thomas Nyfenger, Keith Underwood, Harold Bennett, Gerhardt Koch, Louis Soloway.

Performed with New Haven, Queens, Westchester, New Britain Symphonies and Chamber Orchestra of New Haven. Toured the United States and Europe with many Broadway shows. Original Broadway cast recordings.

Taught at the University of Connecticut, Brooklyn Conservatory (Queens Division), Third Street Music.

Former company manager at New York City Opera. Award-winning writer. On-air and online for the entire SiriusXM platform; Freelance pieces for The New York Times, Runner’s World, Playbill, The New York Post, TimeOut New York. Palisade Magazine. Member of two MSM theory curriculum committees, taught woodwinds, conducted Jazz Ensemble, and coached chamber group ensembles.
