Will Evans is a versatile pianist and composer based in New York City, appearing across the city at venues including Dizzy’s Club, The Jazz Gallery, Carnegie Hall, Birdland, The Django, Zinc Bar, 55 Bar, Nublu, among others. He has had the honor of sharing the stage with such distinguished musicians as Jimmy Heath, Ingrid Jensen, Darcy James Argue, Dick Oatts, Matt Wilson, Wallace Roney, Don Braden, Avery Sharpe, Jack Walrath, Fima Ephron, Luques Curtis, and Albert Rivera. He appears on several studio albums, including his debut record “Serpentine” (2025).
From Providence, Rhode Island, Evans studied under esteemed educators Ed Tomassi and Hal Crook before earning his Master of Music in Jazz Performance from the Manhattan School of Music in the studios of Phil Markowitz and Jeremy Manasia. He is inspired to pass on his love of music to all kinds of students in a variety of settings, including serving as piano faculty at the Litchfield Jazz Camp and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus since 2022.
