The mission of MSM Government Affairs is to support Manhattan School of Music’s institutional priorities by actively engaging in public policy, helping foster informed civic participation, and strengthening relationships with government and civic partners.
MSM Government Affairs provides resources and guidance to help students, faculty, staff, and alumni better understand public policy issues affecting the School, higher education, and creative arts industry.
Looking at federal, state, and local issues, it is important that the MSM Community know who their elected officials are, know about important policy updates, how to communicate with policymakers, and ways to advocate for the School.
