  • “Of all of MSM’s musical productions I’ve seen this is my personal favorite. Saw it ~30 years ago on Broadway, and this staging was perfect in every way. From the superb singing talent, not one off-note or hesitation was heard. As well, I particularly loved the costumes by Debbi Hobson, the scenic design by James Rotondo and the music direction by David Loud.”
  • “The actors did a terrific job. They all had strong singing voices. The set and effects enhanced the storyline. Manhattan School of Music productions are top notch.”
  • “Cast was FANTASTIC.”
  • “Delightful!”
  • “We loved every minute of it! The talent was spot on. Look forward to seeing many of these actors on the Great White Way!”
  • “As usual. Manhattan School of Music provided lovers of Stephen Sondheim’s work with a Broadway worthy production of Into the Woods. The entire cast sang beautifully with clear diction. The set served the production well. Nia Alsop’s Witch rival the performances of Bernadette Peters and Vanessa Williams.”
  • “The Manhattan School of Music’s production of Into the Woods is a delightful and enchanting interpretation of Sondheim’s classic. The cast delivers strong vocal performances, capturing the humor, heartbreak, and moral complexities of the intertwined fairy tales. The direction brings out both the whimsical charm and the darker undertones of the story, supported by clever staging and imaginative set design. The orchestra’s vibrant rendition of Sondheim’s intricate score adds emotional depth, complementing the performers’ passionate storytelling. A must-see for musical theatre lovers!”
