Starting in April, students who have officially confirmed their enrollment at MSM will receive a welcome email containing:

Freshman SES Students must live on campus for the entire academic year. These students must submit:
Graduate SES Students must live on campus during the SES program but will not automatically have housing for the academic year.

All MSM students are required to participate in a declining balance meal plan. The cost of the plan is loaded on your ID card to spend at the dining hall à la carte. Meal plan balances roll over from the Fall Semester to the Spring Semester but they do not roll over from year to year.

Note: Students select their meal plan when completing their housing application.
Students who require housing accommodations due to medical, psychological, or disability-related needs must complete the process outlined below. This may include physical health conditions, mental health concerns, or other documented disabilities.
The Physician Verification Form must be completed and signed by an appropriately licensed medical or mental health professional, such as a physician, psychiatrist, psychologist, or licensed counselor.

After your provider completes the Physician Verification Form, you must submit the Housing Accommodation Request Form and upload the completed documentation.

Accommodation requests are not considered complete until both the student request form and required documentation have been submitted.
To ensure the greatest likelihood of receiving an accommodation based on availability, students are strongly encouraged to submit all required materials by the following date:

Requests submitted after these dates will still be reviewed. However, availability may be limited due to housing selection and room assignment timelines.
Housing Exemption Requests
MSM is committed to cultivating a vibrant community of musicians, and living on campus is an important part of becoming fully engaged in that artistic environment. For this reason, all first-year and sophomore students are required to live on campus.
Students who believe they qualify for an exemption must submit a Housing Exemption Request along with the required documentation outlined below. Exemption requests are not considered complete until all required materials have been submitted.
