The Center for the Performing Artist: Weill Cornell Medical College invites Manhattan School of Music alumni in need of medical care to contact the Center for the Performing Artist.  The Center’s multidisciplinary team of medical specialists has particular expertise and experience evaluating and treating the performing artist.  When an individual calls the Center, a dedicated care coordinator will identify the appropriate specialist; help schedule all medical appointments, tests, and procedures; and arrange for any referrals.  This is a free-of-charge service designed to ensure that you are connected with the physician that best meets your medical needs at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.  It is the Center’s priority to connect you to a Weill Cornell provider who participates in-network with your insurance. For more information, contact Nancy Amigron, Program Coordinator, at (646) 962-5441.
COVID-19 UPDATE: Until further notice, MSM’s campus is open to current students, staff and faculty only, and therefore, recording sessions for alumni and the outside community are not being offered.
Manhattan School of Music’s Charles Myers Recording Studio provides year-round audio and video recording services to students, alumni, faculty, staff, and members of the community at large. As an MSM alum, take advantage of an average 20% discount off the normal recording session rates.
Recording sessions can be booked in the Studio’s digital multi-track facility, Myers Recording Studio, or in many of the performance venues at MSM. HD video recording sessions are currently available in Greenfield Hall, Miller Recital Hall and Mikowsky Recital Hall.
Please note that you are not charged for equipment setup or breakdown time, and there are no other separate hall rental or engineering staff expenses. You will be charged at the hourly rates below only for the recording time that is used during your booked session time.
Myers Recording Studio also houses the extensive audio archives of MSM concerts that have been recorded since the late 1950’s. Alumni may request copies of concerts on which they performed by completing a Copy Request Form and returning it to MSM’s Recording Arts Department.
