Pianist Jinhee Park is a dynamic artist known for her versatility and profound musical passion, with extensive experience in both vocal and instrumental repertoires. As a vocal collaborative pianist, Jinhee, in partnership with soprano Meredith Wohlgemuth, has received international recognition, winning first prize at the Schubert International LiedDuo 2023 in Dortmund, Germany, and the Concours International Musical de Montréal (Art Song Division) in 2022. She also received the best pianist awards at both competitions.

Since 2018, Jinhee has served as a vocal coach at the Chautauqua Institution Voice Conservatory, working with Marlena Malas. Her commitment to nurturing young singers is reflected in her involvement with opera productions such as Le nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, and I Capuleti e i Montecchi, as well as her 2023 conducting debut with Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges.

In the chamber music realm, Jinhee was an official pianist at the 2023 Concours International Musical de Montréal (Violin edition) and the Hudson Valley String Competition. She regularly performs in the U.S., Canada, Germany, and Korea, collaborating with renowned musicians such as Stella Chen and Timothy Chooi.

Jinhee is equally dedicated to music education. In addition to her work at the Chautauqua Institution, she is an Artist-Faculty member at the Perlman Music Program, working closely with young cellists. During the school year, she works with violinist Catherine Cho’s studio at The Juilliard School as a studio pianist and mentor, where she leads special projects, such as vocal projects for violinists, helping them explore new dimensions in their musical training.

A graduate of Seoul National University, The Juilliard School, and Manhattan School of Music, Jinhee is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at Juilliard as a C.V. Starr Doctoral Fellow. Since moving to the United States in 2015, she has made New York City her home, where she resides with her husband, pianist Jun Cho.
