The mezzo-soprano was elected Commencement Student Speaker by her peers in MSM’s Class of 2019 to give the address on graduation day — which also happened to be her 24th birthday!

Perhaps the most poignant thing I’ve come to realize is that we reach our highest potential together and not alone. It is through community, collaboration, and personal connections that we are most fulfilled and make our best art.”
