Students who enroll in this course will have invaluable instruction by the world-renowned teacher Solomon Mikowsky, one of the most sought-after teachers in the world, as well as instruction from prestigious pianist Jiayin Li, a member of the MSM Precollege faculty, whose professional career is being recognized worldwide.
Solomon Mikowsky was born in Cuba to Polish parents and for more than 50 years has been a member of the piano faculty of Manhattan School of Music, where he has received the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service.
Dr. Mikowsky has held master classes at some of the world’s most important conservatories. His students have gone on to become highly successful soloists with major symphony orchestras around the world, winning top prizes at the most prestigious international competitions.
The course takes place from June 14 to June 21 at the Rodolfo Halffter Conservatory of Music in Móstoles, located about a 30-minute metro ride from Madrid, the capital of Spain.
Each accepted participant will receive three public lessons held in a master class format.
The tuition fee ranges from 300 to 500 euros. Participants are responsible for their housing and may choose to book at the nearby 4-star hotel Princesa, or at any hotel in Madrid.
Participants must register by May 15, 2022.
The course Is open to any gifted Spanish or international student, who are selected based on educational background confirming their abilities.
The fee to attend as an audience member is 100 Euros.
