ABOUT ANTHONY ROTH COSTANZO
Anthony Roth Costanzo (MM ’08) is a critically acclaimed countertenor who performs in opera, concert, recital, film, and on Broadway. He recently performed title roles with the Los Angeles Opera, the Finnish National Opera, and with the Berlin Philharmonic. Of his performance in the title role of the Met Opera’s critically hailed production of Philip Glass’s Akhnaten last fall, Anthony Tommasini of The New York Times wrote that Mr. Costanzo “truly owns it,” singing “with gleaming high notes and melting sound.”
