MSM Musical Theatre presents Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
The chill-inducing story of Benjamin Barker, an unjustly exiled man who returns to London as “Sweeney Todd” to seek vengeance against the corrupt judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. This dark, witty, Tony Award-winning tale of love, murder, and revenge is not for the faint of heart!

SLIDESHOW: Photography by Brian Hatton
“MSM Musical Theatre program’s production was absolutely remarkable in every way. Paul Huntley wigs, David Loud music directing a 28-piece orchestra of some of the finest musicians in New York, a cast of young talent all extraordinary and making these roles their own. Genius direction by Ted Pappas. Just everything was fantastic. This school is A+ when it comes to musicals. I haven’t seen a Broadway show that effected me like that in a long long time.” “One of my most memorable theater experiences of all time after living in NYC for 37 years. Cast, leads, music, costumes, lighting, orchestra, choreography, staging all fantastic. I will never forget this night. Ever.” “What an excellent musical! The acting, singing and orchestra were each outstanding. Looking forward to more productions, thank you for the opportunity to watch.” “I am wildly impressed. I cannot believe the singers are all undergraduates! This truly exceeded anything I’ve seen on Broadway. Everything was topnotch—not just the onstage talent, but the sets, costumes, and direction.” “Last year’s Cabaret was one of the best shows ever, but tonight’s show was equally remarkable! The two leads—Sam Johns and Subiya Mboya—were absolutely perfect, and the ensemble was exceptional.”
