The cost of attendance comprises both direct costs, which are paid directly to Manhattan School of Music, and indirect costs, which are not paid to Manhattan School of Music.

*Indirect costs can vary depending on your living situation and are somewhat controllable by you. Both direct and indirect costs are included in your budget for financial aid awarding purposes. All costs shown are approximate based on the averages our students are paying for the budget items listed here.

**All students are required to participate in a meal plan. The annual costs are as follows: Dorm Residents $2,500 per year / Commuters $260 per year.

***The cost of the Student Health Insurance Plan from MSM is $2432. All students will be billed insurance charges, however this fee can be waived with proof of insurance. For more information, contact the Office of Student Life at 212-749-2802 x4525.
