Important MSM College Application Dates

Date Event
September 3 Online application opens.
December 3 Priority application deadline.

Prescreen videos due for majors for which a prescreen is required.
Review prescreen and audition requirements here.

Deadline to have official Duolingo English test scores reported to MSM for applicants whose first language is not English.
December 9 Deadline to submit the College Scholarship Services (CSS) Profile.

The CSS Profile can be accessed here.
December 21 Prescreen results released.
January 5 Deadline to schedule auditions for Musical Theatre and Conducting applicants ONLY.
January 15 Deadline to schedule in-person auditions and live virtual auditions (if eligible) for applicants to all programs except Musical Theatre and Conducting.

Deadline to submit all supplemental materials (unofficial transcripts, recommendation letters, etc.).

January 18-19 Auditions for Musical Theatre.
January 25-26 Auditions for Musical Theatre (coinciding with New York Unifieds).
February 1 Deadline to submit a recorded audition, for eligible applicants.

Deadline to submit financial aid materials. Review required documents here.
February 28 - March 7 In-person auditions at MSM for Classical, Jazz, Contemporary, and Orchestral Performance applicants.

DMA applicants complete in-person placement exams (specific dates TBD).
April 1 Admission decisions released.
April 15 GRADUATE deadline for accepted students to respond to admission offer.
May 1 UNDERGRADUATE deadline for accepted students to respond to admission offer.
May 15 Deadline for ALL accepted students to accept their scholarship and/or financial aid via the student portal.
