Audio services for MSM Music faculty and staff include:

• Design and maintenance of classroom stereo audio systems
• Private Recording Sessions
• Digitization Services
• Access to the cloud media collection of MSM performance recordings on MSM Mediaspace and in the Peter Jay Sharp Library

Classroom Stereo Systems

Myers Recording Studio designs and maintains classroom stereo systems at Manhattan School of Music so that students can experience high-quality audio playback in all of their pedagogical environments. Access to classroom stereo cabinets is authorized to faculty members only and classroom stereo system keys are available to faculty in the Scheduling Office.

In the event of classroom stereo equipment malfunction, faculty must report the need for service by emailing stereomaintenance@lists.msmnyc.edu or visiting The Orto Center for Distance Learning and Recording Arts Office in Room 312.

In case of equipment failure during a class, faculty should use the AV carts which are available in each room.
