A Note Regarding the 2025 Tax Bill:

The federal “One Big Beautiful Bill,” signed into law on July 4, 2025, includes several provisions related to charitable giving that go into effect at the end of the year. This means that the potential tax benefits of giving to our year-end appeal can vary based on the timing of your gift. If you itemize your deductions, making a gift before December 31, 2025 may provide greater tax benefits in comparison to gifts made on or after January 1, 2026, whereas standard deduction filers may find that giving on or after January 1, 2026 provides greater tax benefits. Consult your tax advisor to determine the best approach for you. We ask all donors to our year-end appeal to consider making a gift before January 31, 2026.
