Piano

The programs of study for piano majors are designed to develop skilled performers familiar with piano repertoire, performance practices, and interpretive traditions. Private lessons, course work, and master classes emphasize performance in all styles.

In addition to studies with our expert faculty, students are provided additional opportunities to play for and observe world-renowned guest artists. Recent master classes in this department have included Yefim Bronfman, Philippe Entremont, Richard Goode, Stephen Hough and Lang Lang.
