Housing & Residence Life

When you live on campus in Andersen Hall, there’s always staff available to provide support. We have a team of professional staff members as well as 19 student staff leaders, called Resident Assistants (RAs), who are passionate about building community in Andersen Hall and making it a welcoming place for all residents.

Our Residence Life staff have offices located on the 6th floor of Andersen Hall with staff who are available to support residents Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. If you ever have questions, contact us at residencelife@msmnyc.edu.

Staff on Duty

There are two RAs on duty each evening (6 PM to 9 AM) and all day on weekends. The RA on duty is available to support residents after hours when they need support such as being locked out of their room, noise complaints, facilities concerns, or just needing someone to talk about a challenge – the RAs on duty are available to help. For more difficult situations such as medical attention, mental health support, and more, there is always a professional staff member on duty who our RAs may involve for added support.
